Ernest W. "Chip" King III is a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Manufacturing Designated Airworthiness Representative (DAR-F).
Chip is located in Uvalde, Texas and provides FAA-authorized airworthiness services regionally, nationwide and overseas as required. Chip is also a FAA Designated Manufacturing Inspection Representative (DMIR) for Sierra Industries, LLC in Uvalde Texas.
With over 30 years experience in Aerospace engineering, manufacturing, Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) programs, PMA management, experimental airworthiness and aircraft certification; Chip's experience also includes being an FAA Repair Station Accountable Manager for a large aerospace MRO and can help you with all of your repair station needs including writing and implementing all of your Repair Station manuals to fit your facility requirements.
Chip has extensive experience in creating FAA Form 8120-10s in the National Automated Conformity Inspection Process (NACIP) system and can assist you in all of your FAA Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) management needs including, writing your Project Specific Certification Plans (PSCP) and Conformity Inspection Plans (CIP) required by the FAA ACOs as part of the STC application process.
